Reggie Riley is the Head of Industry, Financial at Google. Prior to this position, he was Vice President of Multi-Media Sales for The Wall Street Journal in the Central US Region. He was responsible for all print and online advertising revenue in the Central Region, encompassing the Midwest and Southwest United States. He was responsible for the sales efforts and revenue generation for The Wall Street Journal US, Asia, Europe, The Wall Street Journal Online, MarketWatch.com and Barron’s Online. Mr. Riley was promoted to Vice President in September 2007. Before these responsibilities, he was the Midwest sales director for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network in 2005-06. Previously, he was the director of Southwest advertising sales for The Wall Street Journal since 2004, living in Dallas, TX. This promotion came shortly after Mr. Riley joined The Journal in Chicago in 2003. Prior to joining The Journal, Mr. Riley was a senior account manager at Time Inc.’s Fortune magazine where he also served as the National Sales Manager for a demographic edition of the magazine since 1998. Previous to Time Inc. he was a vice president and account supervisor at Hal Riney & Partners, Chicago since 1993, and an account executive for Ogilvy & Mather in Chicago, from 1990-1993, when he started his career. Mr. Riley is a member of CIMA, BMA Chicago, CAF, CDMA and the Online Publisher’s Association. Born on Chicago’s North Side and raised in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, Mr. Riley received a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He currently resides in Lake Forest, IL with his wife Christy and their two daughters.
